“Feel The Essence, Hear The Bloom” is a collection of mixed media paintings that reflect upon femininity, nature & spirituality. While the images portray a Victorian sensibility of women, the subtext is that of other worldliness. The multiple layers of paint and plaster are symbolic of a deeper longing to communicate with divinity. These works are a result of a collaboration that I have been having with myself. I feel that I am dialoguing with spirits; the one inside of myself and to others that I feel, and am seeing bloom on my canvas.
